We had an original Carrera RS come in for us to take the car back to it's factory Touring M472 specifications. As well as this there were a few minor rust and paint issues we had to attend to.
On our first inspection of the car it was clear that at some point in it's life the car was subjected to a quick exterior fix up and repaint that was now begining to show it's poor quality. The decision was made to take the exterior back to bare metal and leave the floor, underside and interior alone as these were original and untoched.
Sometimes removing paint can show all manner of sins and reveal plenty more work. But on removal of the paint we are pleased to say that this is not the case with this car. This RS still possesses pretty much of it's original panels, has no nasty repairs or stories to tell. Which is incredibly rare for Carrera RS's.
